Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements
- Ideally, 5+ years experience in a senior infrastructure or systems engineering role within complex enterprise environments
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) or PKI, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and/or 2025, and Hyper-V in clustered or standalone environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure projects
- Design, implement and maintain Microsoft server and cloud solutions
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and scope technical solutions
- Produce high- and low-level technical designs, project documentation and implementation plans
- Provide technical input for estimates, Statements of Work and change requests
- Configure and deploy infrastructure in line with agreed designs
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
- Support live environments, including planned maintenance and incident resolution
- Manage service transition, documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure, processes and operational procedures
- Own technical tasks from initial scoping through successful delivery
