Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte
- Backend development experience in at least one language, such as Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go, or C#
- Experience working with APIs, relational databases, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and modern deployment practices
- Ability to consider systems holistically, including performance, security, and reliability
- Practical experience using Claude for programming efficiency and tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
- Understanding of where AI adds value in the software development lifecycle
- Interest in LLM APIs, RAG, or automation is beneficial but not essential
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features end-to-end, from user interfaces through APIs and databases to deployment
- Work across multiple parts of the technology stack
- Contribute to technical and architectural decisions
- Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, and delivery
- Help improve development practices as tools and technologies evolve
