Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of Cloud Engineering to support a fast-paced and expanding IT environment. As a Director of Cloud Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable cloud solutions.
We value onsite collaboration. This role requires onsite work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.
Qualifications
This role requires a strong, collaborative communicator with direct leadership experience working with cloud engineering and/or cloud architecture. Proven experience leading the design, development, and deployment of cloud architecture and solutions. Oversight of our Client Experience and IT Operations teams. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 10 years’ related IT work experience. In addition, we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud engineering or similar role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing cloud engineering teams.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and automation tools.
- Experience managing department budgets and development of business cases to secure funding approval.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Prior experience with on-premise infrastructure either as a team member or leader of the team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
