Job summary
We are looking for a conscientious, hard-working, caring person to join our team as a Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker within the Radiology Department at Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli.
This is a full time role within the department.
Interviews will be held on 01/06/2026.
Main duties of the job
It is essential that you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills.
You must have patience and be methodical, work well in a team but have the ability to take initiative and work individually.
Duties include:Assisting the Radiographers working in the clinical area.To perform clerical and administration duties.To welcome patients and escort them to changing rooms.To assist patients to prepare for imaging procedures.Supporting the radiographers and patients during and after imaging procedures.
IV Cannulation of patients after training.Cleaning and general hygiene tasks in the department.Stocktaking and ordering of designated consumables.Previous hospital experience would be desirable.

Qualifications & Knowledge Essential
Level 3 qualification in relevant healthcare subject, or possess the equivalent skills, knowledge and experience with a commitment to undertake on the job training to NVQ level 3 accreditation Understanding of the role of radiographic support workers
