About this role

Job summary

Would you like to join our wide ranging Band 5 rotation? The Band 5 rotational scheme includes over 30 posts, offering unique opportunities to develop skills and gain experience in an extensive range of specialties which will provide you with a great foundation for your professional career. The posts are full time permanent positions and each rotation lasts for 6 months. Therapists work in a supportive environment with senior supervision, team and peer support. There is close multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working.

Main duties of the job

Qualifications Essential

Degree/Diploma in OT Professional registration - HCPC

Desirable

Evidence of recent study

Experience Essential

Experience of working in health and social care environments Experience of organising a case load Experience of inter professional team working Experience of involvement with carers and families

Skills Essential

Evidence of working as an autonomous practitioner with self management skills/ team working Basic IT skills Evidence of involvement in audit and research

Special Knowledge Essential

Knowledge of NHS Evidence of facilitating peer learning - i.e journal clubs etc

Personal Qualities Essential

Shares values of the UHB identified in application

Desirable

Ability to speak Welsh

Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner
