Job summary
Little Waltham and Great Notley surgeries are looking for a Human Resources Manager required for their busy two site GP practice. This role is offered on a part-time basis for 25 hours per week, with thepossibility of overtime.
Working alongside our Practice and Business Managers, the successful applicant would support with all employee relations matters.
Main duties of the job
Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning, maintaining records including training, performance reviews, and sickness. Develop employee engagement across the practice and manage complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, absence issues, and redundancies. Provide guidance and support for HR personnel, ensuring HR compliance across the practice. Review and update practice protocols in line with current regulations.
About us
We are a 2-site, friendly training practice with over 21,000 patients. You will be supported by our team of 14 doctors, 3 nurse practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, receptionist, and admin team.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Strong knowledge of UK employment law Proven ability of managing a team within a busy environment Ability to manage, coach and guide team members and colleagues Excellent communication, coaching and relationship- building skills with a logical approach to conflict management Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications Desirable
Preferably CIPD qualified level 5 (or equivalent), with at least 5 years post qualification experience
