Job summary
Creffield Medical Group is seeking an experienced PA/secretary to join our team to provide support to our clinical teams. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 22.5 hours per week over 3 days - Monday, Tuesday and Fridays.
You will be supporting teams at both our sites, West Bergholt and Nayland Surgeries.
Main duties of the job
Working under the direction of the practice manager and GP partners, duties will include:
Supporting the clinical teams with day to day administration tasks Organise meetings and scheduling adjustments Prepare documentation for meetings and take minutes Dealing with enquiries, medical notes and results letters Managing the teams diaries and rotas Manage annual leave requests Providing cover for other teams PAs Liaise with external agencies to resolve patient issues Assist with reports and gathering of statistics

Creffield Medical Group was formed in June 2017, it is an amalgamation of Creffield Medical Centre, Layer Road Surgery, Turner Road Surgery and North Hill Medical Group and we have 30,000 patients.

Person Specification
We would welcome applications from those with the following skills and experience: Essential
Previous PA/secretary experience essential. Audio- and touch-typing skills. Strong administrative experience and good organisation skills. NHS experience/knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Excellent general IT skills including MS Office and experience of working with a clinical system. Excellent communication skills. . Ability to multi-task and to work accurately under pressure.
