DZ Delivery Driver ? Keewatin Branch
Join the McMunn & Yates Building Supplies Ltd. team, a proud 100% Canadian-owned leader in building materials since 1971. We're actively seeking an experienced and safety-focused *DZ Delivery Driver* for our Keewatin Branch. In this specialized role, you'll be essential in ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of building materials to our diverse residential and commercial customers.
As a valuable member of our team, your duties will include:
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations of delivery vehicles.
- Accurately load and secure orders, collaborating with yard staff to prevent damage and verify the load against the order.
- Execute safe and efficient deliveries to both residential and commercial job sites.
- Guide customers through their delivery process with a friendly and knowledgeable approach.
- Complete precise delivery documentation, accurately noting any shortages or changes.
- Assist with general yard duties and cleanup as needed.
The successful candidate will possess
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- The physical ability to repeatedly lift/carry over 75 lbs.
- Proven experience with drywall delivery.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Valid DZ driver's license with air brake endorsement.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including Saturdays.
- Prior delivery experience is a strong asset, and knowledge of building materials is preferred.
