Salary: £40,000 - 42,500 per year
Requirements
- Experience working in a service desk, IT support, SOC, or infrastructure team
- Some experience with security work
- Exposure to tools or activities such as CrowdStrike, Defender, patching, or vulnerability scanning
- Ideally, experience using AI tools to research vulnerabilities, write scripts and documentation, or investigate alerts
- Drive, curiosity, and a positive attitude; expertise in every area is not expected from day one
Responsibilities
- Keep our Windows estate patched
- Monitor CrowdStrike daily
- Assess whether newly reported vulnerabilities affect our environment
- Work with our infrastructure team and develop into Azure and broader cloud security engineering

We are a well-established SaaS vendor offering an entry point into cloud security for someone with hands-on IT experience. You will work closely with our infrastructure team, who will help you learn our estate and provide time and support to grow in the role. The position is based near Reading, with at least a couple of days per week in the office. It is a permanent hybrid role paying around £40,000.
