About this role

Machine Operator | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | More Days Off!

Want a full-time manufacturing job without working five days every week? This 12-hour rotating schedule gives you multiple days off throughout the week, including stretches of 3 days off, while still providing full-time hours. Join a clean, quality-focused manufacturing team producing small medical components used in products such as diabetic needles. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and wants to learn valuable manufacturing skills.

Why You'll Like This Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts = fewer days at work and more days off.

  • Day Shift: Approximately 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
  • Night Shift: Approximately 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
  • Rotating 2-2-3 style schedule
  • Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then the schedule flips
  • Built-in weekdays off for appointments, errands, family time, or just relaxing
  • No traditional Monday-Friday grind!

What You'll Do

  • Operate plastic injection molding and production equipment
  • Load small needle inserts and components into machines and molds
  • Remove finished parts and inspect them for quality
  • Work with small metal and plastic medical components
  • Sort, label, and package finished products
  • Use microscopes or inspection equipment as needed
  • Complete production paperwork and documentation
  • Rotate between different machines and processes
  • Follow clean-room, safety, quality, and gowning procedures
  • Receive hands-on training across multiple machines

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with very small parts
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  • Dependable attendance and work history
  • Comfortable sitting or standing depending on the machine
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Manufacturing, machine operation, inspection, assembly, or clean-room experience is helpful, but related hands-on experience is welcome

Bonus: Experience with sewing, detailed assembly, microscopes, inspection, or other fine-motor work can translate well into this position.

Why Work Here?

This is a smaller organization with a welcoming, family-like atmosphere and a laid-back but quality-focused culture. You'll receive extensive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to learn multiple machines and manufacturing processes. Once hired permanently, employees may also have access to a program that helps pay for college classes.

Work Environment

You'll work in a clean-room regulated plastics manufacturing environment producing small medical components. Required clean-room attire includes a gown, bonnet, and safety glasses. The work is hands-on and detail-oriented, with a mix of sitting and standing depending on your assigned machine. You'll be cross-trained so you can develop new skills and become comfortable with different equipment and processes.

Ready for a Schedule That Gives You Your Week Back?

If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in growing your manufacturing skills, apply today! This is an excellent opportunity to get into medical manufacturing while enjoying a schedule with more built-in days off than a traditional 5-day workweek.
