- External Job Description Manage supplier quality activities for Rubber moulding, Plastic moulding, machining, Rubber extrusion, Master batch mixing, packing material.
- Ensure supplier compliance with safety, and electrical industry quality requirements.
- Evaluate, select, approve, and qualify new suppliers through supplier assessments, process audits, QMS audits, and product audits.
- Develop supplier improvement roadmaps to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Plan and conduct supplier process, system, and product audits.
- Drive quality improvement program at supplier end.
- Monitor closure of audit findings and verify implementation effectiveness.
- Monitor supplier KPIs including PPM, defect rates, COPQ, on-time delivery, audit scores, and corrective action closure effectiveness.
- Capability building of supplier to achieve Green channel supplier status.
- New Product Development (NPD) & APQP Management : Support supplier onboarding for new products and ensure quality readiness during product development.
- Review drawings, specifications, CTQs, and customer requirements.
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management : Lead investigations of supplier defects, line rejections, customer complaints, and warranty issues.
- Facilitate root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools.
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Issue Resolution : Collaborate with SCM, Engineering, Production, Incoming Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
- QMS & Product Certifications : Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, Module D, CE, BIS and as per customer requirements.
- Support compliance with ISO standards,product certifications, and customer-specific quality requirements.
