Metal Fabricator / Entry-Level Welder
Location: Johnstown, COPay: $20.00/hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPosition Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire (4 Months)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator / Entry-Level Welder to join our production team. This role involves production welding, metal fabrication, and metal preparation for industrial manufacturing projects. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and operating fabrication equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and production welding on metal components
- Fabricate and prepare metal parts for assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Operate grinders with flap wheels safely and effectively
- Use drill presses and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements
Qualifications
- Previous metal fabrication or welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Drill press experience required
- Ability to safely operate grinders and flap wheels
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Welding test may be required during the interview process

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
