  • Read and understand shop orders to follow production requirements and specifications.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to complete all tasks associated with the position during the shift.
  • If certified as an on-the-job (OJT) trainer in the molding department, train other team members to become molding operators in order to maintain OJT trainer status.
  • Show willingness and ability to cross-train on multiple machines and processes within the department.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in packing, production, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required.
  • Experience interacting with Quality Assurance teams or following quality control procedures is beneficial.
  • Interest in becoming or maintaining certification as an on-the-job trainer in the molding department is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail when segregating scrap, labeling corrugate, and following recycling procedures.

Why Work Here? You join a stable manufacturing operation that offers structured shifts, clear processes, and opportunities to learn multiple machines and processes. The environment supports growth into roles such as on-the-job trainer and encourages collaboration with quality and production teams. You benefit from defined shift differentials and the opportunity for a pay increase upon becoming a permanent employee, while working in a setting that emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a production and warehouse facility that manufactures plastic lids for various consumer products. You work primarily on your feet for 12-hour shifts, with frequent bending and light physical activity but limited heavy lifting. Comfortable, supportive footwear is important, and workstations are equipped with cushioned mats to reduce fatigue from standing on hard surfaces. Multiple shifts are available, including A, B, C, and D 12-hour rotations (SundayTuesday or ThursdaySaturday plus every other Wednesday, days or nights) and a 3rd shift print schedule (MondayThursday, overnight).

The environment follows strict Safety, GMP, and Food Safety standards, with a focus on cleanliness around each work area.
