Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionAs a general production worker, you will have the opportunity to work in one of two roles - either as a stacker or a builder. Stackers are responsible for stacking lumber from a conveyor belt onto pallets, marking the beginning of the production process. Builders focus on creating boxes according to customer orders, which may vary in size. This role requires the ability to read work orders, comprehend dimensions, and utilize hand and power tools efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Stack lumber from a conveyor belt onto pallets.
- Build boxes per customer orders with varying sizes.
- Read work orders and comprehend dimensions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Measure accurately using a tape measure.
Essential Skills
- General labor experience.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand tape measures.
- Familiarity with production and assembly processes.
- Experience with packaging and construction tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- At least 6 months of experience using tape measures.
- At least 6 months of experience with hand and power tools.

Work EnvironmentExperience working in a small, family-like environment with a wide open concept. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed boots, with PPE provided by the company. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of OWATONNA, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
