Starting at $20.50/hr and aboveJob DescriptionThis role focuses on safely operating a high-reach truck to move palletized materials throughout a busy distribution center during second or third shift. You will work within designated zones to store, retrieve, and organize merchandise while using onboard systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate placement and inventory control. Consistent communication with team members and adherence to safety, productivity, and housekeeping standards are central to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Operate a high-reach truck to move palletized materials throughout the distribution center in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work within assigned zones to remove, relocate, and replace pallets of merchandise according to operational needs.
- Use the AS400 onboard monitor to determine the correct movement, routing, and placement of pallets.
- Use RF scanners to accurately scan products into and out of designated locations, maintaining precise inventory records.
- Inspect equipment at the start of each shift and complete inspection sheets to ensure all machinery is safe and operable.
- Respond promptly to radio requests to provide material handling support to various departments.
- Identify and correct location errors when observed to maintain accurate storage and picking processes.
- Communicate consistently with other associates to ensure materials and products are placed in proper locations and to coordinate workflow.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including proper equipment operation and safe lifting practices.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas by following housekeeping guidelines throughout the shift.
- Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards while maintaining quality and safety requirements.
- Complete additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support overall distribution center operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
