Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Stand Up/High Reach Forklift Operator, where you'll begin with training on the first shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Following training, you'll continue on the same shift. This role offers contract-to-hire opportunities and requires flexibility for overtime and Saturdays as needed. The position is based in Tracy, CA.Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up high reach forklifts for order picking and put-away tasks.
- Unload incoming trucks and manage Shipping and Receiving flow.
- Support high-volume trailer forecasting, with 21 trailers expected daily in the upcoming weeks.
- Assist with ramp-up for holiday and Costco-related projects.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all instructions and safety protocols.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating stand-up high reach and sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to self-manage and work independently.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and communicating in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Crown and Toyota stand-up high reach forklifts.
- Skill in operating electric rider pallet jacks.
- Proficiency in loading and unloading trailers.
- Ability to manage inventory movement and staging.
- Experience using RF scanners.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and protocols.
- Capability to work in high-volume environments.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
