Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Your role is crucial in supporting preventive maintenance programs and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs using the CMMS.
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or steel processing environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, such as bearings and gearboxes.
- Understanding of heat treating processes, including hardening and tempering.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and basic controls.
- Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.

Work EnvironmentWork hours are Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm. The job is set in a fabrication environment, which differs from a large-scale production facility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
