Job Title: Package Handler1st and 2nd Shift availableStart ASAPJob DescriptionThis role focuses on efficiently processing, inspecting, and organizing floor mats to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for customer use. You will operate mat rolling equipment, handle material movement within the facility, and maintain a clean and safe work area while collaborating with the production team to support daily warehouse and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Move buggies full of mats to designated areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Consistently inspect mats to ensure they meet established quality standards and are suitable for customer use.
• Safely insert mats into the mat rolling machine and operate the equipment according to procedures.
• Sort mats by size, color, and specific logo, and place them in the correct customer and route bins.
• Coordinate re-wash or additional dry time for mats that are excessively wet or stained to meet quality requirements.
• Communicate mat inventory levels and report any specific mat shortages to the appropriate team members.
• Ensure floor mats are properly processed, sorted, and stored in their designated locations.
• Effectively communicate product and process issues to help maintain consistent quality.
• Keep the facility, work station, and common areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures at all times.
• Proactively report near misses and communicate any unsafe behaviors or equipment issues.
• Work both independently and in collaboration with the production team to meet daily goals.
• Support general production, material handling, wrapping, shipment preparation, and cleaning tasks as needed.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of York, PA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
