Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role involves a variety of essential duties and responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient production processes. Tasks may vary, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide optimum cooperation and communication to the shipping supervisor to ensure on-time and accurate shipments.
- Pick, manually assemble, and package orders by following work instructions.
- Visually inspect parts and verify that part numbers match the pick ticket.
- Document any discrepancies on the pick ticket and notify the assembly supervisor.
- Assist in other departments as needed, including sawing and deburring parts, and helping with cycle counts.
- Utilize hand power tools and operate equipment such as a hoist, hydraulic press, banding machine, and forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Prepare parts for future shipments, such as bundling teeth and boxing sets of teeth.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production and general labor.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds.
- Capability to stand on your feet for seven or more hours.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in forklift operation and inventory management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hand power tools, hoists, hydraulic presses, and banding machines.
- Capability to adapt and assist in various departments as needed.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a machine shop/production environment that is non-temp controlled, with industrial fans providing airflow.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
