Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate - $30/hr.+ (night shift, 7pm - 7am)Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliable operation and a safe, efficient production environment. This role performs preventive maintenance, supports continuous improvement, and collaborates closely with production and leadership teams to minimize downtime and uphold safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
- Locate and obtain parts required for repairs, projects, and daily maintenance activities, including emergency needs.
- Complete work assigned by the Shift Lead or Leadership Group in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate maintenance activities, equipment status, and issues with Group Leadership and other department members.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, including basic troubleshooting and repair.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including inspection and maintenance.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment to restore proper operation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $61880.00 - $68640.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
