Mitigation Tech Job SummaryAssist with water, fire, and smoke damage restoration for residential and commercial properties. Work alongside a lead technician performing demolition, cleaning, content packing, water extraction, and restoration services while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform demolition, tear-outs, cleanup, and restoration work.
• Assist with water extraction, drying equipment setup, and monitoring.
• Clean, pack, label, and move customer contents and furniture.
• Document job progress, damages, and completed work.
• Travel to job sites in company vehicles.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.
• Follow safety procedures and provide professional customer service.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction, demolition, restoration, or general labor experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials, furniture, and equipment.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with water/fire remediation or restoration.
• Familiarity with moisture meters, drying equipment, or job-tracking software.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Schedule & Environment

• Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
• On-call one weeknight per week and one weekend every fourth weekend.
• Hands-on, physical work in residential and commercial restoration environments.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
