Job Title: Production HelperJob DescriptionWe are seeking 10 temporary production helpers to assist with a product reclamation project. The role involves evaluating, reclaiming, and potentially scrapping products in a warehouse setting. Salvageable products will be reprocessed, while unusable items will be discarded.
Responsibilities
- Dump oil from 5-gallon jugs into designated containers.
- Repetitively handle and turn 35 lb containers with handles.
- Sort products for reclamation or scrap.
- Work with some leaking containers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow supervisor direction and safety procedures.
Essential Skills
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts.
- Tolerance for hot environments for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around oils and food products.
- Flexibility to work overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with forklift operation, material handling, and warehouse inventory.
- General production and inspection skills.
- Backgrounds in warehouse, manufacturing, production, sanitation, construction labor, landscaping, or moving are ideal.

The first shift requires 4-5 employees, while the second shift needs 7. Orientation will be focused on essential safety requirements, with no forklift operation or LOTO training required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
