This is a hands-on opportunity working in both warehouse and field environments handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. What You'll Do

• Transport waste drums safely throughout the facility and designated storage areas
• Load and unload drums from trucks while following safety procedures
• Identify and verify materials using labels and documentation
• Separate hazardous and non-hazardous waste and place materials in proper storage locations
• Operate and feed drums into processing equipment in accordance with environmental regulations
• Perform environmental remediation and general labor tasks as assigned
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse through housekeeping and sweeping duties
• Follow all company safety standards and environmental compliance procedures
• Work both indoors and outdoors supporting daily environmental operations
• Participate in employer-paid HAZWOPER training and apply safe handling practices

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of environmental, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify materials using labels
• Comfortable working in physically demanding indoor and outdoor environments
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work safely around hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Mechanical aptitude or remediation experience is a plus
• Desire to build a long-term career in the environmental field

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
