Job Title: Tower Crane TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for erecting, repairing, and servicing tower and self-erecting cranes with a focus on timeliness, safety, and customer satisfaction, in compliance with applicable legislation.
Responsibilities
- Complete service reports.
- Troubleshoot and repair tower cranes.
- Maintain shop tools and work area.
- Clean equipment.
- Perform shop and yard housekeeping.
- Provide assistance to clients and branch service technicians as required.
- Respond to client requests or questions in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of tower crane maintenance experience.
- Foundation in mechanical and electrical experience.
- Strong background in troubleshooting electrically and mechanically, service calls, and diagnostics.
- Fluency in English.
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the trade.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality, able to work with others.
- No criminal record and ability to relocate or live in designated areas.
- Class 5 licence with a clean driver's abstract for the last 3 years.
- Fall protection certificate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior crane experience in Potain as a technician.
- Experience with cranes.

Work EnvironmentThis full-time role is based in Calgary with the willingness to offer relocation assistance. The position operates Monday through Friday with overtime available.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $135200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
