Fiber Installation Technician Data Center $25/HOUR

This is a hands-on role focused on installing, routing, and managing fiber optic cabling and pathway systems in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with fiber, low voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, electrical, or construction experience who enjoy technical work and take pride in quality installations.
Responsibilities
Install and route fiber optic cable through conduit, innerduct, cable tray, and pathway systems Pull, secure, and organize fiber optic cabling throughout commercial and industrial environments Work with pathway systems including conduit, innerduct, MaxCell, and underground infrastructure Read and interpret blueprints, cable maps, riser diagrams, and construction drawings Label, identify, and document installed cabling and pathways Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet project specifications Maintain proper cable handling practices, including bend radius and pulling tension requirements Work safely in mechanical rooms, cable vaults, manholes, and other installation environments Collaborate with project teams to complete work safely and on schedule Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures
Qualifications
Previous fiber optic, low voltage, telecommunications, structured cabling, electrical, or construction experience preferred Experience pulling and routing cable through conduit and pathway systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Familiarity with cable management best practices and installation standards Comfortable working in active construction environments Ability to climb, lift, bend, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver's license required
Preferred Experience
Fiber optic installation experience Structured cabling or low voltage installation experience Data center experience Experience working with conduit, innerduct, and MaxCell systems Quality control or cable testing experience Experience working in commercial construction environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
