Haycarb PLC, a member of the Hayleys PLC Group, is a global leader in coconut shell-based activated carbon manufacturing. We operate in key international markets, with manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Indonesia, and marketing offices in the United States, Australia, and Europe. In Sri Lanka, our manufacturing facilities are located in the Northwestern and Western Provinces.
We are looking for dynamic and results-oriented Executive -Production & Executive - Quality Control to support production operations, achieve production targets, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure consistent product quality through effective quality control and laboratory testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Location: Badalgama / Madampe Manufacturing Facilities – (Energy Storage Carbon)
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the HOD – Production to achieve production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to improve efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure product quality.
- Supervise production activities and personnel to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with Lab team for testing and chemical analysis to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machinery downtime and maintain production continuity.
- Maintain production and quality records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and environmental standards, including ISO, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of finished products and preparation of customer sample analysis reports.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably with Chemistry as a main subject, or a relevant qualification in Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production or quality control.
- Knowledge of production processes and quality management systems will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
- Willingness to work on shifts.
