About this role
Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for the children
- Support children during their lunch and in their play
- Encourage children to take responsibility for housekeeping and assist with tidying the space after use
- Support the aims and ethos of the school
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
- Follow policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety, security and confidentiality, reporting concerns appropriately
- Complete safeguarding, SEND and personal care training as required
