Requirements
- Active SC clearance is required due to project restrictions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Extensive Linux system administration experience.
- Proven experience performing operating system upgrades in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience supporting and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Manage and maintain Linux-based systems in production and non-production environments.
- Lead and execute operating system upgrade projects, including planning, testing, implementation, and post-upgrade support.
- Install, configure, and patch Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and troubleshoot related issues.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Implement security best practices, compliance controls, and system hardening activities.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, platform, and operating system issues.
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and project teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Support cloud migration, transformation, and modernisation initiatives.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
