Requirements
- Proven experience in hardware, server, or infrastructure support
- Hands-on repair experience with HP ProLiant servers (Gen10, Gen10 Plus, Gen11, or similar)
- Experience with Dell PowerEdge hardware
- Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
- Experience replacing motherboards, CPUs, memory, RAID controllers, power supplies, storage, and network interface cards
- Comfort working in business-critical, high-availability environments
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- A practical, dependable, and methodical approach, with confidence working with physical infrastructure and taking ownership of hardware faults
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults in enterprise server hardware
- Carry out break-fix repairs, component replacements, and preventative maintenance
- Support HP ProLiant and Dell server environments
- Work across server rooms, machine rooms, and technical facilities
- Maintain hardware reliability and help minimize downtime
- Assist with upgrades, installations, and equipment replacement
- Document work accurately and follow established procedures
- Work with customer teams and support engineers to maintain service continuity
- Support legacy hardware during a planned technology refresh programme
