Job Title: Picker and Packer

Warehouse Order Fulfillment Associate

Join a growing warehouse team supporting a fast-paced e-commerce operation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working in a team environment, and contributing to accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Pick inventory from warehouse locations according to pick tickets and order documentation.
• Package products securely and accurately to meet shipping and quality standards.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, kitting, and staging for carrier pickup.
• Support daily e-commerce fulfillment goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Safely move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Use warehouse systems to confirm picks, update inventory, and track orders.
• Communicate with customers by phone to resolve order discrepancies professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency.
• Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of warehouse picking and packing experience.
• Warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift or pallet jack experience.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Kitting and order selecting experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a small team environment.

Work Environment

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Typical hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Flexibility to start as early as 7:00 AM during peak periods.
• Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Regular standing, walking, lifting, and material handling.
• Small team setting with plans for future growth and expansion into a larger facility in Katy.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, TX.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
