Location: South Ribble
Pay: £16.89 per hour
Start Date: 2nd November (following October half term)
Contract: Full-time
We are working with a welcoming primary school in South Ribble that is looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from 2nd November.
The role will involve supporting pupils within a Year 5 class during the school day, before assisting with a small after-school club of up to 8 children.
Hours
- 9:15am - 3:10pm (1-hour lunch break)
- 3:25pm - 5:30pm After-School Club
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support within a Year 5 class.
- Work alongside the teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Support pupils' academic and social development.
- Assist with the running of a small after-school club for up to 8 children.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting children.
