Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join a growing business operating within the industrial consumables, inventory management and supply chain sector.

This is a hands-on, varied role combining warehouse operations and customer deliveries. You will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse while ensuring products are delivered safely, professionally and on time to customer sites.

This is a key hire, and we're looking for someone seeking a long-term opportunity with a genuine temp-to-perm pathway.

Delivery Duties

• Complete daily delivery routes and ad-hoc customer deliveries.
• Deliver products safely and professionally to customer sites.
• Capture and record Proof of Delivery (POD) information using mobile devices.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Support customer stock replenishment activities where required.
• Communicate customer feedback and operational issues to management.
• Provide route cover for colleagues when needed.

Warehouse Duties

• Assist with goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Process stock accurately and efficiently.
• Update stock records using warehouse and ERP systems.
• Prepare delivery documentation and shipping labels.
• Support stock counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with general operational duties.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills and confidence using mobile devices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Customer-focused and professional approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and team-oriented.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience using WMS or ERP systems.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or distribution.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
