I have partnered with a Real Investment business based in Central London who have an impressive global portfolio. They are seeking a commercially minded Accountant with a strong background in Management and Financial Accounting to enhance their finance team.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum benefits (30 days holiday & private medical)
Working pattern: 4 days in the office
Day-to-day of the role
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee general ledger functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with tax returns, statutory filings, and ensure compliance with tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports to aid management decision-making.
- Coordinate audit preparations and manage risk by maintaining effective internal controls.
- Engage in stakeholder management, preparing reports and presenting financial information to senior management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Part-Qualified or Finalist level ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Proficient in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end closing processes.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems such as Epicor, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
