An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Technical Draughtsman to join a growing engineering team delivering innovative technology and installation projects across a range of commercial environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and developing design documentation to support project delivery from concept through to installation. This role would suit someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys working collaboratively with technical teams whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
- Produce and modify detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop design layouts and component connectivity drawings.
- Adapt customer drawings into project-specific technical designs.
- Create installation and assembly documentation.
- Calculate dimensions and specifications for project deliverables.
- Resolve design and technical challenges throughout project lifecycles.
- Work closely with project and design teams to develop effective solutions.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, safety requirements and project specifications.

Skills & Experience Required
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Good understanding of engineering and technical drawing principles.
- Ability to interpret and develop detailed technical designs from client requirements.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, commercial fit-out or similar technical environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and clients.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
