We are currently recruiting a Specialist Radiographer with experience in CT to join our service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on a 12 Months Fixed Term Contract.
The post will involve working shifts, covering a 24 hr 7 day pattern.

The Radiology Department at Bradford provides a comprehensive imaging service to support the wide spectrum of clinical work undertaken within the Trust. Our imaging work covers three sites, Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Luke's Hospital and Eccleshill Community Diagnostic Centre. We have a total of 4 Canon CT scanners. The successful applicant would be expected to work over a 7 day week at the 3 hospital sites dependent on service requirements, including nights and non vascular intervention cover. All major clinical specialties, with the exceptions of transplant surgery, neurosurgery and cardiac surgery are represented in the Trust.

Experience Essential
Experienced in CT scanning & General Radiography Experience of working unsupervised as the sole clinical practitioner providing timely and diagnostically appropriate CT examination Experience of Intravenous Cannulation of a broad range of patients
Desirable
Experience at highly specialized Masters Level experience in a wide range of general CT scanning applications Experience in the training and supervision of students at Degree and Masters level Experience in the education of others by delivering presentation/information
Skills Essential
Broad range of highly developed communication and interpersonal skills required to deliver service effectively to all users Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate highly developed organizational skills enabling multi-tasking, working under pressure with interruptions and an undifferentiated workload To be able to plan and prioritise patient centred/own workload effectively
Desirable
Evidence of multi-disciplinary working Evidence of supervisory/managerial experience
Qualifications Essential
BSc (Hons) Diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) State registration with HCPC

Post Graduate(Masters level) CT qualification or equivalent College of Radiographers or other accredited IV injection course
