Main duties of the job Operose Health is seeking a General Practitioner at Earls Court Health and Wellbeing Centre. The role offers a Band 3 sessional rate of £11,512 per annum, per session, with the requirement to work two sessions per week on Fridays from 8am to 6pm. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery, maintaining clinical governance, and adhering to GMC standards. Candidates should be registered with the GMC, have GP accreditation, and be committed to delivering patient-focused services. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards. To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours). To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority. Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience. Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding. Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb. Package Description: How well support you:
Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs. Full indemnity cover. Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list is required. Applicants must be experienced doctors with GP accreditation, such as passing the MRCGP examination or having equivalent experience. A clear commitment to delivering quality, patient-focused services is essential. Candidates should possess sound knowledge of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), Local Commissioned Services (LCS), Direct Enhanced Services (DES), and Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUINs). Additionally, proficiency in clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb is preferred. A commitment to maintaining personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC is expected, alongside a focus on individual patient care as a priority.
