Main duties of the job As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team, managing appointment requests, signposting patients to our range of services and maintaining patient records and confidentiality. Emailing, scanning, and coding clinical correspondence, processing prescriptions requests, and utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes are also part of the role. The ideal candidate should have reception or customer care experience and be an excellent communicator in both spoken and written English. Basic PC skills such as Word, Excel, and email are required. Operating within processes, procedures, and maintaining data confidentiality and security is essential. Previous experience working in the NHS is welcome but not essential. The position offers a salary up to £24,960 depending on experience, along with benefits like 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, access to learning management systems, car and cycle schemes, and wellbeing services.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Reception or customer care experience, excellent spoken and written communication skills, basic PC skills such as Word, Excel, and email, ability to work within processes and procedures maintaining confidentiality and data security.
