About this role

Job summary Are you looking a Lead Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity? Main Responsibilities: Key duties will include: To work closely with the regional nursing, operational and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks. You will be acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met. In addition to the responsibilities above the post holder will support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required to ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times. Will be involved with the implementation and monitoring of all clinical aspect

Main duties of the job This position is for a Lead Nurse at Operose Health located in Islington as a permanent job opportunity. The salary range is from £48,000 to £49,500, contingent upon experience. The role revolves around providing leadership in the nursing team, ensuring that targets are met in alignment with guidelines within national service frameworks. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, decision-making, and executing care provision within general practice. It requires collaborative work with the general practice team to meet patient needs. An NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met. Additional tasks include supporting the Regional Lead Nurse and acting as a deputy when required to maintain a high level of standards. The post involves demonstrating clinical excellence in conjunction with the site clinical lead and assisting with nursing redesign and quality strategies.

Qualifications Essential

First Level UK registered nurse / Registered AHCP with at least 2 years post qualified experience. Non-medical Prescriber. Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links. Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams. Understanding of the Lead Role.
