Job summary We have an exciting opportunity to come and be part of ReFResH Senior Leadership Team, to take forward the Safeguarding Agenda and best support Mental Health Services at a time of transformation and improvement. Main duties of the job As the Safeguarding Lead for ReFResH inpatient services, you will be responsible for to ensuring the ReFResH division carries out its statutory duties with respect to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Adults and Children. To assist with the development and implementation of the Trust's and Local safeguarding agenda, and ensure that Trust policies, procedures and governance systems meet statutory and national requirements in relation to safeguarding. To support the ReFResH Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the division contributes to multi-agency safeguarding work alongside specialist safeguarding professionals from other organisations and bodies, including Adult's social care, education and health, and in the planning and development of strategies for safeguarding. To ensure that safeguarding concerns are monitored and dealt with in a timely and effective way across the division.

Person Specification

Qualifications / Experience Essential

Registered practitioner e.g. Social Work or Nurse Significant experience of leadership role for safeguarding experience of facilitating safeguarding and/ or clinical supervision Practical experience of using safeguarding procedures and case working within a wide range of highly complex and challenging situations. Using clinical governance systems, including contribution to the design and implementation of audit
