About this role

Job summary Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with procurement experience whos keen to develop their skills in a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation.

This role would suit someone currently working as a Procurement Administrator or Junior Buyer looking to take the next step in their career. Youll play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply across the business, supporting supplier relationships, and driving best value through effective procurement practices.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role, working from our office in Beaconsfield, 2 days per week.

Main duties of the job Ensuring continuity of supply for goods and services across key spend areas Supporting Category Managers with day-to-day procurement activities (raising and tracking purchase orders, supplier coordination) Acting as the first escalation point for purchasing issues Managing supplier relationships and maintaining accurate contract records within procurement systems Supporting RFI, RFP, tendering, and negotiation processes Working closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice queries and identify root causes Building strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and deliver on business needs Producing spend analysis reports and contributing to category strategies Supporting supplier performance management and regular reviews Assisting in contract management and supplier sourcing activities Contributing to procurement-related projects, including new site mobilisation
