Healthcare Assistant Lung Cancer Screening Programme

Location: South West Covering sites in Swindon, Portsmouth and Fareham.

Flexibility in travelling to different areas in SW is essential.

Travel: Full UK Driving Licence Required

Shifts: 12-hour patterns, 3 days a week (8am8pm), including weekends and bank holidays

As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused experience across our mobile screening sites in the South West.

Main duties of the job

Welcome patients and guide them through their screening journey with empathy and professionalismSupport clinical colleagues in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, mobile environmentAssist with patient handovers between screening and CT scan locationsMaintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality Help manage clinic flow, support scheduling, and respond to patient queriesUphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection controlContribute to a 7-day service, including bank holidays, with occasional remote admin work
