Main duties of the job As a Bank General Practitioner at Operose Health, you will deliver high quality clinical care at sites in Torquay. This role involves working alongside clinical leads and the practice team to support surgery operations, maintain practice quality through governance activities and improve health outcomes. You'll provide clinical care in person or via video, handle triage, correspondence, medication reviews, and more. As a qualified doctor, you will support clinical plans, practice growth, and patient satisfaction while adhering to professional standards. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards. To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours). To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority. Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience. Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding. Qualifications Essential
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list, MRCGP examination or equivalent experience, knowledge of clinical systems like SystmOne or EMISweb, understanding of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding, commitment to quality and patient-focused care
