Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is introducing a new Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service.We are seeking two Social Care Digital Technology Ambassadors (Associate Lead Professionals).

The TEC service will help adults to:

live more independently stay well for longer get the right support at the right timeIt also helps support family members and friends who provide unpaid care.

We are recruiting two Social Care Digital Technology Ambassadors to support this work. This is a fantastic chance to shape service and a career development opportunity for an ambitious social worker.

About the role

These roles focus on supporting practice. You will help practitioners feel confident using technology as part of their everyday work with people. You will help them to:

understand what the TEC service offers know when technology may help talk about technology with people and familiesTechnology should be part of adult care conversations. This includes assessments, reviews and support planning. You will help turn technology into practical, everyday support for people.

Three roles working together

There are three Ambassador roles in total.

One role will mainly cover the East of Lincolnshire One role will mainly cover the West of Lincolnshire One existing role will cover the South of Lincolnshire.The three roles will work closely together. You will:

Experience of working in Adult Care or a similar setting An understanding of strengthsbased practice Confidence supporting and developing practice The ability to explain technology in simple, clear language An interest in using data to support early help and prevention A positive and collaborative way of workingThis is a professional leadership role. Therefore, you must hold a current professional registration.This may include Social Work England, HCPC or an equivalent body. You must be able to show how your professional judgement supports safe and personcentred practice.
