Key Responsibilities:
Project management in delivering in an IT/Consultancy Services delivery scenarioDeliver complex projects from initiation to completionBring thought leadership and think outside the box in terms of setting project approachExperience on VMWare / Active Directory / Wintel.Build relationships multiple stakeholders involvedStakeholder management– ensure expectations are clearly set and managed throughout the programme lifecycle (‘under-promise’ and ‘over-deliver’ approach)Chair meetings with cross supplier attendees with differing business agendasManage both Fixed Price and T&M engagements without exposing Cognizant to commercial risk whilst maximizing revenue and marginKey Skills and Experience:
Experience of managing Infrastructure projectsCompetent leader of Project resources (able to assimilate multiple work streams, identify common challenges/dependencies and advise on effective management approaches)Ability to manage large complex projects in multivendor environmentStrong MS Excel skillsProject cost estimation, budgeting and controlAbility to foresee risk and managing them in advanceRAID managementAbility to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels within client organizationAbility to create a program roadmapSetting up PMO and reporting functionsHold a discussion with technical team and managersRunning KPI based model with riskCredible and competent within senior management meetings (both internal & external)Nice to Have Skills.Knowledge of Earned Value Management and its application to projects/programmesExperienced user of Microsoft Project Suite (specifically including Word, Excel & Microsoft Project).Additional Information
