Mechanical Site Manager Newmarket Suffolk
£295.56 per day PAYE + Holiday Pay | 26-Week Contract
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk (CB8)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm
Contract: Temporary – 26 Weeks
About the Role We are recruiting for two experienced, mechanically biased Site Managers to join an established construction organisation on a project based near Newmarket, Suffolk.
The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the mechanical supply chain, ensuring works progress in accordance with the delivery programme while maintaining high standards of quality and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors and the supply chain.Monitor site activities and drive progress against the agreed delivery programme.Ensure mechanical works are completed to the required quality standards.Maintain high standards of health and safety across site operations.Liaise effectively with contractors and project teams.Identify and resolve issues that could affect project delivery. Skills and Experience Previous experience in a Mechanical Site Manager or similar mechanically biased site management role.Good understanding of mechanical building services and construction operations.Experience managing subcontractors and site activities.Strong organisational and communication skills.Good knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.Own car and ability to travel reliably to site are essential. Additional Information This is a site-based position within a secure working environment. Successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary security checks.
