Accounts Payable Specialist | Temp to Perm
Location: KendalHourly pay: £14.65Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a busy finance team in Kendal. This temp to perm opportunity is ideal for someone looking to demonstrate their skills within a supportive environment and secure a permanent position.
Day-to-day of the role:
Processing and inputting supplier invoices.Matching invoices to purchase orders.Authorising invoices in line with company procedures.Managing supplier and internal invoice queries.Processing and allocating payments.Reconciling supplier statements.Maintaining accurate invoice records and filing systems.Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required by the Accounts Payable Lead. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Good knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Professional and confidential approach to work.A minimum of 2 years' accounts experience.
