We're working with a fast-growing, PE-backed financial services business as they look to hire a Chief Data Officer to lead the next phase of their data journey.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to transform the data function, modernise the existing data landscape and establish data as a key enabler of growth across the business.
The opportunity:
Define and deliver the organisation-wide data strategyTransform the data operating model, team and capabilitiesLead the development of a modern cloud data platform, lake and warehouse environmentBuild scalable, self-service data and analytics capabilitiesStrengthen data engineering, architecture, governance and analyticsPartner with Product, Technology and the wider leadership teamDrive the use of AI and automation to improve productivity and customer experienceUse data to enhance onboarding, personalisation and customer journeys We're looking for:
Senior data leadership experience at Director, VP or CDO levelProven experience transforming or scaling enterprise data functionsStrong technical understanding across data engineering, architecture, cloud and analyticsExperience building modern data platforms and self-service capabilitiesStrong executive stakeholder management and commercial judgementAzure / Microsoft data ecosystem experience is highly desirableFinancial services, fintech or another regulated environment would be advantageous Hybrid: London, 1 day per week in the office.
