Site Supervisor required for Morecambe School
Annual Salary: £25,949Location: Morecambe SchoolJob Type: Full-time (25 hrs per week, split shifts)Start Date: ASAPHours: Must be able to open and close school (shift timings are flexible and negotiable) We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team at a local school. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of the school premises.
Day-to-day of the role:
Act as a key holder, carrying out security procedures for the buildings and grounds, including routine and non-routine opening.Respond to calls outside normal working hours as a result of break-ins or alarms.Provide access to the premises and classrooms in the event of snow, minor flooding, or similar emergency situations.Handle enquiries from officers and employees of the Local Education Authority, workers, and contractors, and advise the Headteacher of their presence when appropriate.Supervise cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the school are maintained to a high standard. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory or facilities management role.Ability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations.Strong communication skills to effectively deal with staff, contractors, and local authority representatives.Capable of physical tasks associated with opening and securing large buildings and grounds.Reliable and responsible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
