A growing healthcare organisation is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take ownership of management reporting, partner with operational stakeholders, and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic business.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the month-end close and management reporting cycle, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.Produce timely management accounts, forecasts, variance analysis and insightful financial commentary.Partner with department heads to provide financial analysis, challenge assumptions and support operational decision-making.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.Support the Finance Manager with financial reporting and strategic finance activities.Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation within the finance function. Requirements Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional finance qualificationPrevious experience with Management Accountant in a Private Healthcare organisationStrong month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experienceAdvanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systemsGood communication skills with confidence to liaise effectively with stakeholders
