ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER – WALTHASTOW, EAST LONDONAre you ready for your next step in optics? Lunaria Recruitment are looking for a fantastic Assistant Branch Manager to join an established and successful optical business in Walthamstow, East London.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who already has experience within optics, retail, healthcare or audiology and is ready to take that next step into a leadership role.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally confident, enjoys working with people and loves being part of a team. Someone who can lead by example, support their colleagues and help create a fantastic experience for every customer who walks through the door.
The role Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll be an important part of the leadership team and will help keep the branch running smoothly day to day.
You’ll be supporting the team, helping to drive sales and performance, developing colleagues and making sure the highest standards of customer service are always maintained.
You’ll also step up and take responsibility for the branch when required, so this is a great role for someone who wants to develop their management experience and build a long-term career.
What will you be doing? Supporting the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the branchLeading, motivating and supporting the teamHelping the team achieve individual and branch sales targetsDelivering exceptional customer serviceSupporting training, coaching and colleague developmentHelping with performance managementManaging stock and ensuring the branch looks fantasticSupporting local marketing and promotional activityMaintaining high operational and customer service standardsActing as Branch Manager when requiredOpening and closing the branch when needed What are we looking for? We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in optics, retail, healthcare or audiology.

Confident and approachableA natural team leaderExperienced in customer service and salesOrganised and reliableCommercially awareA great communicatorComfortable supporting and motivating a teamAble to work well under pressureConfident using IT and point-of-sale systemsPassionate about delivering an amazing customer experienceAmbitious and keen to progress You don’t necessarily need to have been an Assistant Branch Manager before.
